He normally, NORMALLY, only uses energy attacks when necessary [[mainly against stronger opponents]] since he's primarily a melee fighter. And if you recall, throughout all the seasons, none of them really use energy attacks on weak opponents much. It's not like they're trying to kill everyone. xD So that situation does make a bit of sense.

I am sorry but this series is really irritating me. I been watching Dragon Ball Z Kai on Nicktoons since I was 12 in 2010. And was recently catching up on the original Dragon Ball on Animefreak.tv this entire weekend. Knowing the passion of Goku's for his son Gohan, and the love Gohan had for his father, Was very heart warming. And also the love Goku had for his friends. And to see Pan his Gdaughter, and Goten goku's son acting like brats and goku never putting his foot down annoys me so much!
