The difference between FIOS and Cable is phenomenal, the compression they use is absolute crap and their HD is still only 720. If comcast cared about their customers, which they really dont, they would lower their damn rates. Their internet equipment blows too, constant rebooting and loss of service while streaming netflix on the pc or to the xbox.

But i'm stuck with comcast in my area, FIOS wont set up in the ghettos only in upper class areas in my city, lol. So comcast can charge what they like with no competition.

I had comcast they suck big time switched to DISH :) Comcast doesnt care as long as they get there money but when I switched to DISH the person whom was hooking us up said a lot of comcast costomers where switching to DISH because the serivce is better and the rates are resonable DISH's service for there costomers is great comcast is just very rude :P

I'm switching to FIOS this week. Oh, the problems with Comcast... First they gave me a cable modem that would stop working every couple of days and required 2 or 3 reboots to get it back connected. Three service calls and still no resolution. I bought a cable modem from Best Buy and worked like a charm. Then when I moved I couldn't use my own cable modem because Comcast "still had it registered under the old address." WFT?

Let's not even talk about the crappy compressed video.

I admit that this commercial is funny, but wow, Comcast really knows how to misdirect. I work for Verizon installing FiOS. While the job is tedious and it can take awhile to do an installation, it's well worth the service. Every subscriber I go to gets my direct work cell number and always gets my attention as needed. When was the last time a comcast tech did this?

I have fios with solid HDTV reception, faster internet and phone for the same price I was paying for just buggy HDTV reception and slower internet. Not to mention, Comcast has some of the WORST customer service reps and techs on the planet.

So Comcast changed the script -- now says "I'm going to start signing your name to get things rolling here" -- used to say something like "I'm going to fill in your credit card number which I memorized."

Why the change? Beats me.
