FYI after you cut the fruit put it in a bowl of water and you can get those seeds without making a mess. =0) ya know deseed it under the water.

Tonya, if you break up the pom in a bowl of water the seeds fill float.

The easiest way to do it, it to;

1) Cut the top to "pop the lid"

2) Cut lightly on the sides along the membranes

3) separate along the cuts

4) Take each slice flip it upside down in your palm so the seed side is facing your palm

5) Hit on the skin of the fruit until all seeds fall out

Okay, Tonya, you are cute but you need help with juicing pomegranates. Here is a tip from Grandma Bev: Cut the pom in half and use your citrus juicer instead. The job will be done, everything cleaned up and you drinking healthy juice long before this video is over. Also that membrane that you are handling with your bare hands is very hard on the skin. It pulls out the moisture. Also, You do not have to spit out the seeds. Chew up those crunchy little seeds for a healthy digestive tract. ♥

you don't need a juicer to juice a pomegranate, if you get all the seeds out all you need to do is put them in a cheesecloth and wring the juice out, though your hands will turn pink, but if you don't have a juicer it works really well for getting all the juice out.

Instead of using a juicer I suggest you juice it like an orange. This is far fast than picking out all the seeds and you get all the juice from the kernels, but no bitterness! Try it!

BTW: A glass a day of pomegranate juice is said to reduce the chance of getting Alzheimer's!

My question is: Do you know which fruits would be good to juice to help with migarine headaches. I have had migraines for 20 yrs and the last 5 they got worse. Tonya Tko, you are an invaluable inspiration. I tried juicing the arils the gelatinous red things you called nuggets for about 3 months by putting them in a bag and pounding the juice out. Long story short, it takes way too much time. Don't you find that even when you remove the pulp that after juicing it's still got a little bit of the tart flavor. I think pomegranate juice should be free of the tartness completely otherwise it's just not worth it.
