it wasn't a live performance. The beginning of get in the ring is taken from a concert in NY in 1991, where they never played get in the ring and then they did the studio recording of the song after that crowd noise.. Axl always said the song speaks for itself.

...for years all we could find to buy were the ritz show 88 and UYI concert-Tokio '92 so after the internet is bluring the record companies then professional video recordings seem to be here just to get it easily so i'm thankful for it but since gnr was destroyed and the internet is around these amazing files looks like cheap whores to get!

that was in in march-april of 1993. From what i read, the Israeli press wasn't impressed with GNR's performance. Largely due to the fact that izzy wasn't into practicing the new songs according to slash's book.

this documentary is depressing in a way since it was the final years of the band. It's such a shame they broke up, but i think this is the best GNR documentary so far.

Axl wanted 2 take the band in a different direction,where as slash wanted to stay faithfull to his rock and blues roots,money is no issue to either of them.

slash maintains that musical differences between him and axl never led to the break up. Slash said in his book he left, which eventually led to matt and duff leaving the band because axl began acting like a dictator,, forcing the other members to sign over the rights to the band's name, axl would repeatedly be late for shows, he would show up late for rehersals, he hired/fired members without consulting others. I don't think money is the issue i heard they got offered 120 million for a reunion.
