I don't see any energy out of these guys really. Biggest thing I enjoy and look for about live shows is the energy the band brings. These guys just look/feel like "Yeah, whatever. We don't really wanna be here" and complete tools lol. Though, the music is at least tight and sounds solid, the singer sucks lololol. Portnoy did a solid job, that's all I cared about seeing honestly.

I'm a huge fan of both Bullet and Avenged. Bullet tends to start alot of their songs off the same. Which isn't a bad thing, just repetitive. A7X takes chances with their music and how they put it together. They're this era's Iron Maiden.

Maybe it's a different style but Portnoy drumming (to me) it's another level. But no matter what, The Rev was an awesome drummer too. I hope A7X could find a drummer as good as him.

See, triggers are devices you can hook up to anything, connect it to a drumbrain, and boom, drum sound. Now, if you connect it to a legit drum, it can make you seem louder and faster than you're actually playing.

Now, if you want skilled drummer, look up Buddy Rich.
