hey forcefedfists, i totally agree with you i had an aerospoke and i didnt like it very much. and seriously its a hipster thing haha. i got called a hipster hella. but what ever i do live in sf haha

aerospokes are garbage and only hipsters like them because they want to stand out. if you want a good solid wheel you want either a b43 or a chukker laced up to either a phil wood, pro max, or chub hub. snowflake lacing is the way to go too. hella beef. fixed freestyle is a sport, colorful "fixies" and faggot hipsters is a trend. theres a difference. who agrees?

I wouldn't call aerospokes garbage. They were used in several succesful world record attempts on and off the track.

I also don't think that there is such a clear demarcation between fixed freestyle and hipsters. There's just people on these bikes for different reasons. I initially got into these bikes because I liked the looks, then I noticed what a great ride they are. I'm in my 30's and have never been mistaken for a hipster. Slowly learning tricks now. What does that make me?

there are two of them, so you need to specify. and riding a 650 puts you in a position that places more weight on the front tire. this makes pedaling more efficient, and i would assume skidding would become easier as well. so basically, you just got put in your place, so shut the fuck up and stop complaining about things that don't regard you.

All these hipsters started riding "fixie" bikes after watching the BM's ride them for years. 5 years ago the only people you saw riding track bikes were BM's and people who were friends with BM's. Now everyone rides a "fixie" and yes a "fixie" is different from a true track bike. It's just a trendy thing that the hipsters stole from BM's. Just like everything else it wil pass at some point.

Hopefully soon so I can ride my track bike and not be embarrassed.
