@imN0Ttheone you might be right that there has never been a revenue neutral tax in the history of Canada, but that doesn't mean there can't be one. a revenue neutral tax is completely in line with one of the green party's ideas: "tax things we don't want (such as pollution), and take taxes away from things we want more of (such as income)"; the idea, if i understand correctly, is that this sends clear signals to the market so we can innovate our economies to give us a better quality of life.
I'm happy to support the Green Party even if they don't have a chance yet in my riding, because it feels good to vote for people and a message I believe in.
It is fantastic to see a party that reflects the positive values that Canadians hold and that does not use attack politics or fear tactics just to gain a vote.
