  • I liked the James Taylor

  • @MrCraigary123 Thanks, Mr.C. I've always liked JT's music and hope to get to another song or even a medley of his stuff on a future post here. I appreciate the comment!

  • man, your good brother. you know your origional tunes. i'm a definate fan. hope everyone has a good turkey day.

  • @italiantaurus Thank you brother. Glad you liked this bunch. More new voices and old classics on the way. Until then, I hope you enjoy your Thanksgiving too!

  • Nailed them all, more or less. Good job!

  • @stevefah Thanks for going out on a limb and listening to more than just one of my posts. As you can attest to, I always try to respond back to every comment. More new stuff ahead so I hope you'll check back and offer your feedback once they're online. Til then, best of everything...

  • I just discovered your channel. Call me a fan. Great job!

  • @indyme2 Thanks, Indy! Glad you finally made the discovery. Welcome!

  • you must be some real arrogant asshole to put yourself on youtube! what a complete dic lollol!!!!! Let the music play and shut your stupid mouth!

  • @whitepaw54 Uh oh, another guy with a handful of subscribers, ZERO friends, and ZERO uploads tossing insults at someone who at least has the guts (if not the creativity or talent) to post material here... are you serious? Get a life and then go try to find a friend or two. You're going to need them for the day when you mouth off to someone in person so they can pick you off the ground after you get your ass kicked. Tough guys don't hurl insults from the anonymity of their mom's basement. lol

  • @themanof1000voices Hey man never ever let small minded people bring you down.If that's what makes you happy by all means do it!!Good job i'll check the rest out if you can give me a look see i'm new to this thing and comment good or bad thanks luck!!

  • @themanof1000voices Whatever makes you happy DO IT!!Good luck i think you are doing fine some people are just jackasses that have to try to bring others down.If you can check out some of my first ever youtube vids.It was only me practicing a friend made me post it just for the heck of it.So if you have a minute check it out and plz let me know your opinion since we are in the same craft. It can be harsh or nice don't care as long as it's honest thanks,God bless and i'll be watching!!

  • Love it man. Lightfoot killed!!!! Loved them all!

  • @glimmerman108 Thanks, Matt. Always nice to start the new year seeing a positive comment like yours. Best to you in 2011!

  • The Gordon could use a bit of work, and the Stones. But generally--your impressions are very, very good. Why aren't you on TV or on tour?

  • You are a real FAKE....Don't sound any of them

  • I could never pick between phil collins or peter gabriel. Peter could hit the high notes very well had a chesty voice. Phil collins could but it sounds like he's hurting himself. iI listened to Steve Winwood live 2009 He sounds exactly the same as he did 40 yrs back. Great musucians. Well done for trying to recreate my fav musicians

  • @jaggass Thanks, jag. These three are also among my favorites. Glad you liked the re-creations.

  • Ive noticed that peter gabriel, phil collins and steve winwood have similar voices. steve winwood's voice tis the easuest to do out the 3

  • @jaggass I think you're correct in that Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins sometimes do have a similar vibe--probably because of their common bond with Genesis. I do think Peter is much more of a 'throaty' singer than Phil though. As for who's easiest, that would depend on one's natural range. Most bass and baritone singers would tell you that Winwood is damn near impossible to sing well. Everyone is entitled to their personal opinion and I thank you for yours.

  • Mel Blanc is the TRUE man of 1000 voices!!! you'll NEVER take his place!! *sob*

  • You're right. I didn't know that fact until after I had picked up the dotcom and noticed Mel (or his reps) had it before me. I took the name from a Beatles lyric ("the man of 1000 voices talking perfectly loud) since I love the band & felt it fit. Mel was the master of cartoon voices and can never be replaced. My goal is to be one of the best when it comes to sounding like the world's most celebrated rock & pop singers. Tthh thhh tthhat's all folks!!

  • I'm not counting yet but i think eventually you may pass 1,000.

Come on Stew take up the Mel Blanc challenge. I'm sure you could pull off a great Bugs Bunny version of What's Up "Doctor My Eyes" :)

  • Thank you Thank you Thank you for including Steve Winwood - I loved it! Valerie is one of my favorite songs. Also really liked your Glycerine - it was spot on!

  • You're very welcome, Janet! I love Steve Winwood's songs (solo or otherwise) so honoring your request was a real pleasure. Glycerine was a late addition-- I'm trying to work in some more recent bands to broaden my audience and the variety of material. Don't be surprised if you find a future upload that starts with Pearl Jam and ends with Bocelli. ;) How many singers do you know that can pull that off? Ho Ho Ho... Anyway; thanks for the comments and have a wonderful Christmas! Stew

  • I really liked the Gordon Lightfoot song!! You sound great!!

  • COOOL! -Fucking awesome- you rock my friend!GREAT JOB!! Keep them coming!!!

  • You're too kind Orpheus, but many thanks for the endorsement! Got more on the horizon once the holidays are over. I only hope I can meet your high expectations. Have a wonderful Christmas! Stew

  • great job as always Stew.

Although I was reminded that the only band I think I ever booed was Bachman Turner Overdrive.....lol.

    See you at Christmas!

  • Thanks, Bruce. Guess that means you'll be returning the BTO's greatest hits CD I got you for Kwanza. Melacahekeemucka, baby!

  • Great selections Stew! I particularly enjoyed the Gordon Lightfoot song. You pretty much nailed that low-key, Canadian sound he is famous for. Keep it up and have a great holidays!

  • You too, ski. Actually, the Lightfoot was an after thought. I was rehearsing something else and wasn't satisfied so I decided to dust that one off and add it. It had been years since I even heard the song but it stirred fond memories of summers in Ontario (where I used to hear it constantly on the radio). As always, thanks for the nice words and have a very merry Christmas! Stew

  • Very good you rock!

  • Thanks, blackshirts! Glad you liked the upload. More to come, once the holiday smoke clears.

  • Very nice! James Taylor is quite impressive but the others are almost perfect! Thanks Stew! Ciao from Napoli!

  • Really happy you liked the selections, Eymerich. I only hope I can get an "almost perfect" rating from you on the next upload! Nothing like pressure... lol. Thanks again for listening and leaving your thoughts. All the best, Stew

  • Your performance are always "almost perfect", you play the songs "with your heart" and it's a pleasure to listen it! I'm so curious to listen the next up!

  • Thanks Jonesygirl! I still have a long list of voices I've yet to cover here but definitely will get to a Bowie medley soon. David's always been one of my favorites so it will be a pleasure to put that one together. Til then, I appreciate your comments and hope you'll continue to check out my new stuff as I post it. Have a very merry Christmas! Peace. Stew

  • im lovin that Lightfoot, bachman! keep it up man. Always lifts me to hear your impressions.

  • Lifting spirits is what this season is all about, right? So happy I could raise yours. You did the same for me in writing your comments. Thanks for that, Scrod. Enjoy the holidays! Peace, Stew
