Losing in the first round of the NCAA tournament, terrible seasons and I got tired of it. I applied to NC because its a lot better college than KU academically. I'm like the ex husband who hates his ex wife. KU is my ex wife and I hate those bastards with a passion. As if its any of your business.

For such a "storied program " and such great former players..Im pretty sure we dont hear jack-shit about any KU players in the NBA..oh except for the potheads that left last year. Are you kidding me? Paul Pierce is considered one of the best players in the NBA. Mario Chalmers is considered one of the best rookies in the league this year. There are at least 5 former KU players starting for their respective NBA teams right now. KU has a wealth of talent.
Anyways, having said that, what does the NBA have to do with anything here?

Good job, once again great KU fan. Ha, you want to know why I hate KU? I am from the state of Kansas (KC-Kansas) and I use to be a KU fan when I was a younger. But, they let me down way too much. Losing in the first round of the NCAA tournament, terrible seasons and I got tired of it. I applied to NC because its a lot better college than KU academically. I'm like the ex husband who hates his ex wife. KU is my ex wife and I hate those bastards with a passion. As if its any of your business.

Ahhh, so basically you're a bandwagon fan. You couldn't take the losses so you jumped ship. We won't miss you. No school or team needs fickle fans like that. The fanbase as a whole is better off without you, even Mizzou fans would back me up on that.
As for academics. Both UNC and KU are top 100 public universities and the difference between the two is too insignificant to make a decision of where to attend based on such. A degree from either will give you a ton of opportunities.

I am from Kansas as well (Topeka.) I chose to go to Missouri because it is much stronger academically and is of course the number one journalism school in the country. I am not a huge fan of NC, but hey, it's better than kU.

I agree with you besides the crap team part. Tech is mediocre, but managed to beat 2 great teams in KU and Texas A&M. Baylor fell flat in the reg season but are now playing inspired and good bball in the Big 12 Tourney/NIT. OSU is really good. They barely lost to OU the first 2 times and have some beastly players in Anderson and Eaton. I'm not saying KU's bad by losing to Baylor. I'm just saying MU winning the Tourney is just another step out of Quin Snyder's shadow. No hard feelings meant.
