For you younger readers, I cannot express how MAJOR this was that Metallica appeared on an industry show, representing metal, live, on telelvision. Hell, they only had one video, and that was a big deal. But I remember the discomfort seeing this stiff crowd and James uncomfortable, until 3:36 where he spots the crane camera...seems to realize US FANS AT HOME...and gives us the fist "lets blow these fuckers away"
