Ever hear it used solely on vocals in a live band application? If the signal was being processed prior to it reaching the board, would it still work? If it would, would this be beneficial to use before or after an effects processor in the loop? Thanks for any help with those questions.
Any tips for using this with an SM7B? I'm also getting a lot of white noise with this even though I'm using Mogami cables. When I plug straight into the mixer there is no white noise.

Wow.. that is really amazing. I am podcasts & doing voice overs and this looks like a must to have. Great demonstration of the features. Very effective demo! You got me sold!!
@mandolinroad I've got two of these and have never ever had an issue with noise with either unit. I use them for broadcast VO and vocal tracking as well. 5 years being constantly on....no issues....and a very forgiving compressor.
@heestenhats You can go overboard with the exciters and the compression. But this demo was pretty normal sounding. Only issue I've heard about is noise, it's supposedly a really noisy unit. Heard it from at least 3 different folks, all pros. Made me a little uneasy to be honest. Other than that, it seems ilke a good, no-nonsense unit.
Where can I buy one of these? I've been looking around at many stores and they told me that it has been discontinued.
