We've all seen video of helicopters...lots. And nowhere have you seen blades moving this slow. Video is 30 frames a second...film is 24 frames per second, and everything depends on the synchronization of the film or tape.
But this has nothing to do with any of that. This is how people see helicopters when their on really good dope.

The recording speed of the camera is not fast enough to catch the blade rotations.
For example, if the blades are circulating at 300 rotations per second, but the camera is recording at a rate of 30 frames per second, the blades will appear to move at 10 rotations/second. This is why the blades appear to be move at a slow rotation. If you watched this same event with the naked eye, you would see the rotations are MUCH faster than they appear on film (I hope that explains it clearly).
