peeps is about the spread of a disease/parasite that causes its victims to renounce, or at least fear, things they once loved (& become kinda vampirish), and this guy, cal, who becomes a peep--someone infected, parasite positive--but who is only a carrier. he works to track down other peeps....& yeah. more, but not enough space o_0

great book, highly recommended. the parasite factoids are awesome. :D
