I myself am a Queen fan. And ever since i saw him do his audition i was in shock to see how well he did and told my friends right there and then that he should replace Paul. He's not as good as Freddie Mercury, but he's the closest to it. He's close to hitting some of Freddie's notes, and seems like he has alot of charisma similar to Freddie. Adam's first single wasn't good at all IMO, but he could do really well with Queen. He would definitely do better than Paul Rogers. Adam wants to do his own thing right now, but he is working with Brian May right now on a project. A soundtrack for the movie 2012. I thought it was a rumor, but then I went to Brian's website and read it there under Things I did in the City of Angels.
Adam is an unbelievable vocalist and I think he could pull it off, however, I don't think that he would. It's not likely that anyone could replace Freddie, and I doubt anyone would even dare to try. Freddie's an icon, and those shoes would be too big for anybody to fill.

I watched the viedo of Adam Lambert singing with Queen and he's the only singer I could name who actually has the voice and the talent to do a Queen song justice.
Replacing Freddy Mercury? Nope, no one can do that. Queen died with Freddy.
Doing his songs justice? Yeah, I think Lambert could.
Plus, Lambert is a fan of Freddy Mercury himself so it wouldn't be a gig for money but a way to pay respect.

NOBODY can be the "new" frontman of Queen. Queen died the day Freddie died. All four guys: Freddie Mercury, John Deacon, Brian May, and Roger Taylor had agreed time and time again that should something happen to one of them, that would be the end of Queen. Queen is dead... the current Queen are nothing but a shadow of their former selves... :( And even John Deacon (their former basist) agreed that he's done with Queen since Freddie is gone.

I myself am a Queen fan. And ever since i saw him do his audition i was in shock to see how well he did and told my friends right there and then that he should replace Paul. He can hit Freddie's original notes and hes got the showmanship. not to mention...hes gay. But seeing how hes doing his own thing theres obviously little chance of it happening. And in all honesty, Queen doesnt need a new lead singer because all of them can sing very well. :)

I dont know that ANYONE can ever replace Freddie Mercury, but if Adam did some collaborations with Queen that would be cool. Adam performing some of Freddie Mercury's songs with Queen...his performance would pay respect to Freddie.

As a huge Freddie Mercury fan, from the first time I saw Adam, I felt that he was Freddie Mercury's re-incarnation, at least in showmanship. Freddie Mercury however, was a genius composer. Not sure about Adam in this regard.

He's not as good as Freddie Mercury, but he's the closest to it. He's close to hitting some of Freddie's notes, and seems like he has alot of charisma similar to Freddie. Adam's first single wasn't good at all IMO, but he could do really well with Queen. He would definitely do better than Paul Rogers. Nothing against Rogers, cause he was great with Bad Company, he just couldn't come close to Freddie. Hope Adam comes to his senses and joins Queen eventually.

Who would make a good "replacement"? Nobody, you don't "replace" people like Freddie Mercury.
To my knowledge, Queen+Paul Rodgers was never intended as an extension of Queen anyways, hence the meticulous manner with which the project was entitled. According to Roger Taylor and Paul Rodgers, anyways.
Would I buy a solitary note of anything that became of any project with Lambert? Again, no. I like neither Lambert nor American Idol.
