@ussrwrestling a fighter who is able to stay on his feet in an mma match is always using their wrestling. He beat Fedor because of an escape he says he used all the time wrestling. Without the escape he wouldn't have been able to be in the position to throw that punch.

@syncopoly Hey man you're not exactly right. A fighter who is able to stay on his feet in an MMA match could be using his reach, speed, footwork, judo, sambo or pure instinct to do so. Of course wrestling helps, but it's not the end-all-be-all of the transitional game. Watch Frank Trigg vs Judo guy for example.
