I only need to hear the first few notes before the tears begin to flow...Thank you Melissa for putting the emotions to song so soulfully!! This song was popular when I lost my first true love. So many parallels. I feel this is a tribute to a couple who have mutually come to the end of their relationship, knowing it was over but spent one last night together. It happened almost exactly that way with us.
On a happier note - After 25 years I called her. We both "Think of each other as friends."

Funny i live 5 blocks where she is performing in Ffld , Ct and did not even knew she was going to be there , but i stumbled on to this video , great song that brings back memories

i'm 60 this year and the election, the family that's taking residence gives me a slight hope like i had when Pres. Kennedy got ass. it seems like after that everything went to, where ever "things" go and it's been 50 years
