Just fyi, Maasai don't live in areas where Afrikaans is spoken, they mostly just live in Tanzania and Kenya, where the national language is Swahili, they also have their own language, Kimaasai
kimaassai is that language only spoken in there tribe?
and what is the most widely used language in Africa i am planning to go but i need to know what dialect i will need the most (or can help me in most situations)
Yes, the people of the Maasai tribe speak Kimaasai. Swahili is the most widely spoken language in East Africa, and is fairly well known in other parts of Africa.
I learned some basic phrases in Swahili when I was in Tanzania last year.
it's my biggest dream too. i was visit tanzania and i'm learnig swahili too. i saw them on the daresalam beach. on the frontz of my nice lodge kipepeo. this is on an island between daresalam. the maasais was so amazing, but i'm scared to loock in this warrior eyes.
