Do your history. House Music started in Chicago in the late 70's. It was many dances done to housemusic but the main one invented and kept in the Chi was footwork. For those that didn't know, it was slow paced before it was accelerated because when the youth took to house music after the 80's and added fast-paced percussion, footwork evolved with it and sped up as well. House O' Matic and Phase 2 were some of the early pioneers. And you say Chi-City! Stand up Chi, don't let them steal us.

this looks like house footwork. most dance styles have "footwork." hip hop, salsa whatver all have footwork... chi juke footwork and even jit have roots in house dancing. (thats why jit is slower than juke - its been around longer and is closer to standard old school techno/house tempo)

It looks too commercial, I know they are inspired by the CULTURE, but on the real end of things, it's more of a feeling. You can practice and come up with rutines and all, but when you go out and battle at juke parties and such, that routine won't stick. However, I think it's good to learn the basics!!! Keep trying

That's the older Chicago footwork, but it's a good place to start. Hopefully you advance them to actual juke tracks, because it's much faster than that.
