I have spent like 80 hours watching this stuff and the artist's pretend they want you to learn it but they don't show you how to slice off the piece from the center? Or show you how to plyce certain cuts. I want everyone here to learn, but am having a hard time figuring out what they are doing, ancient chinese secret? Shit, I give up...... My guess is, it is practice and more practice...

I certainly appreciate this art. I only made with carrot because the chef friend of my dad teach me a little. It is difficult to control the cut and is really an art.

looks like an Exacto knife (something you can get from a craft shop) but it looks sturdier and slightly less flexible, but the vid quality sucks so much it's hard to tell. Beautiful piece of art. And the squash ain't bad too. ; )
