I hope the avengers win for the sake of all mutants. I think they may have more potential even though the.x men will always be an overwhelming powerful group. I would stick by the avengers they ve got good resources and they are not going against a group bad guys and gals. I hope this a fight worth seeing and the avengers pick up a few members. I love LOVE LOVE LOOOOOVE the X-men (my name says it all), but I think they should leave. They have screwed with the universe and characters to the point of them not even being...decent characters anymore. I've gotten to the point where I don't even keep up with the characters and universe anymore. For me who's not into comics, having a unified universe with all Marvel characters just saddens me. Where's the magic of being a superhero if there are 10 000 others like you? I think this is the reason why people have it hard to get into comics. It's just too much of a clusterfuck with separate universes and overly complex storylines. :(

Cyclops is the best developed leader in Marvel history. From House of M to booting Professor X to putting together X-Force and even sacrificing his son and Nightcrawler..this guy is simply bad ass and saved mutants from going extinct. On the flip side, The Avengers went through struggles with Avengers Disassembled to Civil War to Osborn's reign. Both teams have been built to this amazing level (probably at their best) and this will be an amazing fight. However, Cyclops will lead them to victory.

I'd have to disagree with the statement made at 1:02, if anything, the X-Men have been MORE integrated with the rest of the MU if compared with earlier decades; think of every major Marvel hero showing up in the end of Whedon's run; Namor (who, yes, is a mutant, but is not usually associated with the X-Teams) being a member, Blade hanging out with them a bunch of issues at the start of the new adjectiveless "X-Men" title; and of course, Wolverine and Storm being now Avengers.

Still, i think the X-Men are sort of hard to integrate compared to the Avengers, because while a mutant can easily be an Avenger, it's trickier to be an X-Man if you're a non-mutant hero.

Hey guys, first off this was a really interesting video, excited for A vs X.

As far as fights go I'm rather sure it's going to come down to a tie unless the scarlet witch shows up or Sentry decides to come back. Personally I'm leaning towards the Avengers (Love those guys). Also some of the posters are off; I know that beast is actually going to be fighting with the Avengers and Wolverine is so/so. The first issue apparently is Iron Man vs Magneto and Thing vs Namor so that's interesting.

What? You hate Rogue as a teacher?? She came in and really was the first staff member to actually TEACH the students things about their powers in a direct and effective way. I love how yes, she used to be a big gun in all the fights but since Cyclops basically sidelined her due to being a loose cannon, she learned a new and real passion for nurturing the next generations. Honestly I want the Avengers to win, because they have been taking it on the chin for a while, since House of M. Yeah the X-Men have too, but they've seem to bounce back, but the Avengers have seemed weaker to me especially during the Civil War, Secret Invasion and Dark Avengers. I want them to have this big win, but I see this comic ending with no clear winner. Only half wins and probably the defeats outweighing the wins on both sides.

My Concern with Hulk vs Emma is that we've seen it before sorta in World War Hulk: X-Men. Hulk basically plowed through all the X-men, including Emma Frost and I don't think at that time Hulk was weakened by her psychic powers. It all depends on what Hulk we get, if it's The Green Scar, then yeah Emma is bascially screwed, some of the others, Emma might stand a chance.

Well you didn't ask me but heres my answer. For X-Men I would read schism first. This book divides all xmen comics into two teams. From there you will have a better idea of where to go.

6:13 The thing that makes this story arc (AvsX) seem a little 'meh' in my mind, is that we have already had the a story where an avenger fights the whole x-men universe... WORLD WAR HULK! And don't forget he was fighting all sects of the x-men, including x-force. This really feels like they are sweeping it under the rug previous massive story arcs by doing this, because just having the hulk as an avenger enforcer... Just weakens him as a character. Stop underestimating the Hulk.

I think having the X-Men take the win in this crossover would go a long way toward reestablishing them as a major force within the Marvel universe, but the whole marketing point brought up at the end could be the deciding factor. Either way, I'm looking forward to reading.
