This reminds me of warm days in the park as a child. The joy of family. The warmth of the sun on my face as I run through the woods. Echoes of joy which are now long gone. Pure beauty and sadness for days gone. Thank you.
im trembling after hearing this... makes me want to take a swim in the crystal clear waters of the Bahamas. with this music playing underwater as im diving deeper..deeper..deeper

well, this is not so cool... I hate when people add those stupid child laughs and birds,etc... A track to be 100% ambient should only have synth/acoustic sounds with no recorded sounds... only the fucking good melodies, chords, etc. Thanks.
@KaunisRoheline hey I kind of agree with you like klaus schulze but ambient like every other music merge with other styles and progresses her style.
Kettel in other hand I dont believe ever see him self as pure ambient artist but most of electronic general merging ambient with other music styles like acid, idm, etc.
@KaunisRoheline the difference between sound and music is brought in by the mind. I consider bird tweets and the breeze between foliage just as musical as anything else. In my opinion this is a cosmic chorus, and we all are part of it.
Another Gorgeous Kettel piece. Subpolar, if u like this try - Structures From Silence by Steve Roach - this is in my opinion the benchmark. Cheers, McD.
i believe the title of this track is "Halt Him" off of his My Dogan album. if you like his ambient you should do yourself well and try and find his tracks off the Merck label's ambient compilation Aurora 2, "Goodbye In September" and "Times of Running Eyes Closing" are really amazing. Also his album Volleyed Iron, particularly the track "Wim Hoffman", to me this is the best ambient ive heard in 10+ years of some serious ambient listening!!!!
Oh well, it's without question one of the best ambient songs I've heard, but not *the* best.
Hospital Reqiuem, Foliage Pathway and The Realms of Sanda from Secede's album Tryshasla come to my mind, that album's so incredibly awesome.
I also love M83's ambient album Digital Shades Vol. 1 and Milieu's album A Warm Wooden Hollow (check out my videos, there's a track from that album), they all got a very unique and special feeling to them, just in their own way...All a matter of taste, I guess.
ok...i've got this pins and needles sensation throughout my body. this is a sign of a truly outstanding track.
