@misty4033 you honestly believe that part of the punishment was not for homosexuality? they wanted to rape the male angels in order to satisfy their sexual desires. they had wife's but lusted after men. they were doing this before prophet Lut was sent there. they invented homosexuality so surely part of the punishment was for being a homo or a heterosexual. i find it hard to believe they got punished for everything else apart from the sin they invented. and Allah knows best.....

scary99man - Hello and thank you for your question. The Prophet PBUH said that we are judged on our actions and not our thoughts. The devil will always try to tempt us to do Haram but if we over power him and stop ourselves from doing haram then Alhamdulillah we have over powered him by the will of Allah for that moment. A Muslim needs to always be on guard and one way to do that is try to never miss prayer, do some dhiker (reflection of Allah) and or fast.

I heard when I was younger (don't qoute me on this, i'm not sure if it's correct)
but when god was creating our world, the Oceans wouldn't stay still, then god said to the ocean "if you do not stop, i will punish you, the way i would punish a male on top of male" and that's when the oceans stood still to this day.
