announcer: "let's take a look at that shii....HA! with the clock.."
u know the even the commentators are amazed when they almost forget they are broadcasting worldwide and almost cuss. nice save! haha tried to make it sound like "shot" there hahaha
Isaiah should have been on that dream team at the olympics...don't know what was going on there but it really sucked coz he's one of the best guards of all time.
Great Channel, and props on editing this game the right way. I remember seeing this game, and Jordan hitting that last shot was one of my favorite MJ moments!
I know I'm getting old when I see comments relating this game to ancient history. or see that people have no idea who some of the piston players where. I had just started college in 92.
Most players would have gone for a layup to get a foul but Jordan chose to shoot a 3pointer trailing by one point. He took the hard way out. No player compares to Jordan because no player has the balls to do anything that he did. What do you expect? He's the Greatest Of All Time!
dude, ridiculous high-lights. kOrOne79 I particularly like the middle =P Can you believe that I worked out enough to start dunking! I just used the the nba training program at 50inch vertical[dot]com and managed it in only 1 and a half month!
Detroit Pistons @ Chicago Bulls | Nov 11, 1992: Jordan's trey for the win
I was jumping and made so much noise that my dad got up and asked me what was going on? I was up late and just said, I was just excited- after seeing the M.J. 3. I quitely turned off the t.v. with another smile at beating the Pistons. YES!
Jordan vs Dumars was always an awesome matchup.Dumars was an awesome player very underated. but we all know MJ is and will always be the greatest to ever play this game period
You have to credit the Bulls for finally beating the Pistons. The Pistons were the last great 80s team and their run was done in '91. The damage was done however. They beat the Bulls 3 out of 4 times in the playoffs. Jordan's playoff record in the 80s is not very impressive.
Jordan had a shitty team when he started his career with the Bulls, what do you expect? That he beats the Celtics, one of the greatest teams ever assembled, in 1986 (first round) and 1987 (again, first round) ? In 1988 they faced a great Pistons team with rookie Pippen and rookie Grant (again in the first round).
In 1989 they beat the Cavs, who were the overwhelming favourites (5-0 vs Bulls in the regular season) and then New York in the 2nd round. The Pistons were simply tougher and more experienced. No shame in losing to the soon-to-be world champions in my opinion.
@kOrOne79 One of Mike greatest years...He was the fuckin man!!!! Should have beat the Pistons that year...only thing in that series he tried to do a little bit too much by himself...Should have gave Scottie the green light instead of waiting a couple years.
@KenaiAndrews oh shut up you turs sniffer so what if they beat mj 3 out of 4 times!!the pistons never swept the bulls like the bulls did to them in 1991 playoffs u gimp!!the 1990 series went to 7 games, the 89 series 6 games and the 1988 series 5 games!!!they may have beat him but when mj was at his best he destroyed the pistons and sent them packing and they would never win again until 2004!!LOL.after this defeat the bulls went on to win another 5 rings in 7 years!!!
@LBJ2032 You seem sensitive about Jordan's sub-par 80's playoff record, resorting to name-calling. Again, credit MJ for winning in '91 but If you want to glorify Jordan's 6 titles in a watered down era in which the Bulls were the only true great team (the 94-95 Rockets a possible #2), who is truly sniffing the drapes and drinking the grape drink? Greatness is not just about how much you win but the calibre of competition. When you weigh Jordan's titles it's good, but not great.
@KenaiAndrews LMFAO!waterdowned era?god you really have no clue about basketball.the pistons were one of the most ruthless teams ever in nba history and is why they came up with the jordan rules!!!which was the only way to beat mj was to physically beat him you dumb ass!!so a peak magic, bird, barkely, drexler, ewing, robinson, malone, stockton were weak were they?LMFAO!!the names i just mentioned were all on the first dream team which was the best assembled team of all time you knobhead!!ur a FAG!!lol
@KenaiAndrews the 1992 dream team was the best team ever assembled and has destoyed any other team the us has assembled ever since!!and dont say anything about the 2004 team that got its ass wooped by greece!!LOL.the names i mentioned above have a total of 20 nba titles between them u dick!!waterdoened era!!LOL.aww i get it i really do your just a jealous kobe rim lciker who is gutted coz his team and supposedly best olayer got embarassed to fuck by being swept in the second round!!HAHAHAHA
@KenaiAndrews and subpar playoff record?LMFAO!!his 90,s playoff record is the best of all time you dumb shithead!!and in the 80;s he wasnt at his best you dumb tosser!!!from 1991 onwards he destroyed the league, and if he didnt retire he easily would have won 8 titles and won 5 in a row,and dont try and say if jordan was still playing that the wank rockets would have beat a prime mj!!LOL.now go and cry coz your over rated wanker kobe got swept as defending champions!!u VIRGIN!!!lol
You have confirmed you're a sensitive person. I only converse with adults by the way, so this is all you get. Make all the excuses you want, try to insult people all you want, Jordan record when competing against great competition is subpar. He's 11-23 all-time and 0-6 in playoffs against Bird, and couldn't even win a single playoff game against him. Jordan also took 7 years to get to the first title. He had to wait for the great teams to erode. Also needed Scottie win the titles. Case closed.
@KenaiAndrews Jordan was beating great Cavs, Pacers, Knicks, and Jazz teams long after Magic and Bird had retired...He struggled against the greats ok..but how else do you become great if you dont battle greats?...He worked his way to the top..The comp in the 90's was just as tough as the 80's...it just seemed less physical because alot of long range shooters were entering the fold and stretching the defense further and further...Jordan, Bird, and Magic are on the same level to me..Kareem #2.
@KenaiAndrews A watered down Era? You must be smoking crack, the 90's had some great teams. The first Bulls team wasn't the most talented ever, but Jordan made everybody better. That Bulls team and Rockets teams would beat any team today. This is a watered down league right now, not in the 90's! peace..
@KenaiAndrews Bulls swept Pistons finally. And they almost defeat Pistons in 1990. In 1991, the Bulls was way better than 1990. Even if the 1991 Pistons was as good as 1990, Bulls would stil beat them.
That left jab step before he dribbled right and knocked in the three pointer was beautiful. He burned two people exactly the same with one move. Classic..
Because Isiah had no class then, and has even less today. Isiah could have at least given Jordan his props but never did, and instead showed his jealousy...to the point where he walked off the floor with his fellow-cheap ass Pistons after the Bulls beat them in 1991. Being from Chicago had NOTHING to do with it.
I'm not a fan of the Bulls, or the Pistons (Rockets fan). But it gives me great pleasure to see that ass Thomas fail at every turn with the Knicks.
Jordan got up super high on that game-winning 3 to make sure he got a clean look at the rim. Wow -- looked like he was shooting it downward almost lol. He shook Joe D pretty badly with that fake on the catch as you can see on the replay -- had him going the wrong way. :P
