This song.. Oh wow. This was all I listened to for at least six months straight, in the end of fifth grade into sixth. With any other song, if I listen to it for too long it dies out for me, but this'll live forever. That woman has such a special place in my heart, has influenced my childhood in every way and her music will always be my favourite.

I love this song, KT, I lost my daughter in January to a drunk driver, she was just getting a start on life and then it was taken from her, I used to imagine me holding her through the bad times when this song came on, now I imagine her holding me when it comes on. Her children and I miss her terribly, it describes what we both have been through. I know that she walks with me to this day, thank you for such a beautiful song.

There's an interview on youtube somewhere in which she addresses her sexuality (she isn't a lesbian). I've seen it but forgotten the source. Honestly I don't see where it would affect her ability to inspire one way or another. I am a middle-aged man and she inspires the heck out of me. KT rocks.
