Pete Doherty is one of those artists, who may not be technically top notch in his singing skills... but he definitely carries passion in his voice, and that's why he's amazing to listen to.
Definitely hear his Smiths love a bit in here in some parts! Been having a bit of an obsession with aul' Doherty the past little while. He's a fucking genius

It's beautiful and unique and, occasionally, very haunting but Carl's voice is still better for Death on the Stairs. His voice is just better suited. It's grittier and it evens out the strangely poppy guitar. Sorry, I'm not a blind follower of Peter like so many seem to be now. They're both talented singers and I believe strongly in giving credit where it's due and not playing favourites.
