  • at 0:16 you can see it on top of the pole. its sort of a little yellow blot. but that little yellow blot is a xT22 for sure.

  • Ooh. 3T22's make the most eerie symphony.

  • thats a Federal Signal 3T22 going off

  • Xt22 definately.

  • what were the winds for that storm?

  • F3 in the tornado, (not in this video) so I guess 150-200mph. At the time of this video winds were fairly light as I remember.

  • @stormlover28 You know the wind is very often not there until hell break loose.

  • it would be funny if a tornado siren would still going off after it got sucked in by a tornado. O_O i wonder... >_>

  • here a asc aca cyclone.

  • 2t22/3t22.

  • Also I have a video called Storm Chase June 9 or something that shows the tornado we saw ( before this video) on this storm. We were some distance away though.

  • A guy named Tornado Tim got caught in it. If you google him you might be able to find his scary video.

  • Ai ai, it was a spectacular "mothership" storm.

  • Whoa ! This is absolutely nice, you can see in the sky all these clouds ! Oh my god, that is great !

  • Thanks a lot expertmax1

  • Where is it ? I think it's in the south, the houses are western-styled ! Like Texas or Louisinana !

  • Actually this is in north east Nebraska, possibly O'Neill, can't remember exactly.

  • Was that in Jasper? Cause that looks like Jasper!

  • Where is Jasper?

  • When I said you are a dumbass, I didn't mean the creator of this video..I was talkin to someone else.

  • A siren test won't go off during a storm, or if there's a threat of severe weather during the day the test is supposed to happen. If you hear the sirens go off during a storm, then you better head to your place of safety.

  • I love that siren :)...We need one of them in this town...

  • in what city is it ?

  • That's why you have something called a television..

  • A siren test won't go off during a storm, or if there's a threat of severe weather during the day the test is supposed to happen. If you hear the sirens go off during a storm, then you better head to your place of safety.

  • I love spring/summer storms. Absolutley love them.

  • Eh?

  • ??????? what do you mean you miss tornaodes their r tornadoes eevry day and plus you shouldnt miss tornadoes, you should hate them,un less youre a chaser...r u a chaser??

  • dude kansas gets hit like hardball more than illnois

  • Tornado Ally man! :)

  • if i was in a tornado alley and the sirens went off i would tape the tornado and duck in cover.

  • it must bee scary to hear a tornadoe siren. But i live in north las vegas so theres no tornados.(expet 1 in 1803 but thats a long time ago.)

  • tornadoes isrens scare me because i get to thinking about people dieing and housees getting tore down nad i be thinking hell it might even get me

  • awesome wall cloud!

  • The siren in this video is a 2T22. GB mostly has Thunderbeams.

  • At one point it sounds like their is two of them going off.

  • Could be, not sure how widely spread they are.

  • It's actually the siren's two tones in great harmony, making it seem like there are two, but there is only one.

  • not sure exactly but near O'Neill Nebraska

  • What City was this in?

  • eery

  • Did a tornado hit this area?

  • A large F3 tornado hit near here google "Tornado Tim" and you will find an amazing video of it.

  • thats is cool Nice job! where was this taken?

  • What really was disturbing is a neighbor of mine whose a MAJOR NERD says he and his gal get sooo off by the wailing of outdoor sirens.. when he told me that I was like.. OOOO KKKKK

  • the main reason you can tell it's there is the increase of the sound...which is only possible in a clear straight sight of the siren... in the 14 to 19 second (of the movie) time frame... there are what looks like 3 telephone poles...one in the for ground, and 2 in the background...the middle one with the yellow item on the top (you do have to look hard to see the yellow) that's the siren.

  • That is very interesting, thanks for pointing this out, I can see it now.

  • It is either a 2t22 or 3t22 (and more then one...) but you can actually see one in the 14 to 19 seconds of filming... it's in it's original civil defense color (yellow) too :)

  • I had no idea you could see one, at which second of the film can you see it?

  • omg that supercell is right over that town, i dont see any wall cloud but i hope nothing happened, except for the school children need to e free!

  • We saw two tornadoes before this video was taken, the second developed into an F3 but we didn't get a good view of that one. Finally after this video (I think) we had to outrun an impressive gustnado. We then had to drive all the way from N Nebraska to Oklahoma City overnight through a whole line of severe thunderstorms. It was an insane day.

  • You should taped the last two events you described after this video.

  • I'll upload a video of the first tornado soon

  • i agree. it has to be a 2t22 since their tones are slightly higher than 3t22s.

  • I just got off of hearing both the 3t22 and 2t22 and it is most definitely a 2t22.

  • 2T22 is probably right.

  • love the atmosphere created by the siren and ominous looking skies combined.

  • what kind of siren is that cause i never heard a sire like that before

  • Its a tornado siren, they go off when the US National Weather Service thinks a storm with a tornado on the ground is going to impact a town.

  • I knew that it was a tornado siren, I was asking about the type of siren.

  • Sounds like a 2T22/3T22.

  • Awesome video! Where and when was this?

  • Thanks, this was in north east Nebraska on 9 June 2003.
