plus these guys utilize ZERO torque which is a neccesity for spining around the guys in coming force. Also no ku sao or chi jerk ( sticky feet) which is also very usefull in table top chi sao. u don't win chia sao by pushing . Just imagine if the other guy was actually throwing punches how would the bigger guy ( blue shirt) control him??

did he beat the smaller guy though? thats messed up how do you win a wing chun chi sao tornament using mantist fists? someone should kick the judges in the head. Thats always how it ends up. the bigger guy just results to pushing and shooving (also known as mantist fists or something else irrelevent to wing chun) and as a result wins because the other guy fell of the table. He should be penalized for non wingchun techniques!

The Tall Guy with the hair has very clean Kung Fu , Its good to see wing chun done correct. Not to knock the other guy ( Bald )but his wing chun skills are weak even if his is the larger of the 2 .

Elton was using more mantis hands than WC. He also was hitting with internal strikes. This not very apparent to the untrained eye.

Elton won 1st place that day. I guess the judges didn't think his skills were so weak.

his skills are not weak/just dont look like wc/in a st fight he would have won/but in regards to wc, he was just brawling.

IMO to use a kick during Chi Sao one must disrupt the opponents horse or pull a bridge down to minimise his options. Just giving a kick whenever is like throwing combos with no setups..it may work but it could be better.

First off these men are very courageous to fight bare handed with no protection. Second they were not allowed to kick to the legs or joints. Two competitors were hit with internal blows. One nearly quit the other caused a disqualification. Most of the pushing occured on the podium. The rules have to be adjusted.
