This is a french movie, one of the best so far!! I've seen it in theaters, and I was really moved by those two actress! The soundtrack is also really good, but it's better in the french trailer (song by Jean Louis Aubert!)! The tittle may seem a little cheesy, but in french it's called "Il y a longtemps que je t'aime" because of the children's song "A la clair au fontaine", you'll understand if you see the movie!!

In the US it should be I'm not sure about the UK but id think so. I live in the US and when it will be showing around me it will be english subtitled.

She will be up against some stiff competitian with others like Meryl Streep for Doubt, Angelina Jolie for Changeling and Kate Winslet for Revolutionary Road.  But nothing would make me happier than to see a talent like Thomas finally get her second nomination and possibly a win.
