Has anyone ever speculated that because the 8th and 9th doctor look a little similar, that the eighth doctor didn't regenerate at all? Very unlikely, but who knows?
@indoorin You don't get to see 8th to 9th. But you do see 7th to 8th. The movie was filmed in 1996 and it was actually called 'Doctor Who, The Movie'.
I am glad that there was no Mcgann to Eccleston regeneration as it would have confused people who wouldn't have necessarily have watched the old series or tv movie so it worked pretty well not going down that route.
Who is this medical chap Dr Who? Is he really a sell out? Not like that time traveller known as The Doctor in that TV series Doctor Who. Also young doctors = bad, does that make Doctor's 1-5 bad as they were his youngest incarnations?
Wow, brilliant. This really neeeds putting into a little animation/adventure about the Time War, he presses the button to destroy Gallifrey, goes back to the tardis, and regenarates. :)
that was awesom, the ONLY thing i would do is is you kept the colour constant. so if Mcgann was bluey purply i would have coloured eccleston to match, other than that top stuff
Would it really have been so hard for the show to do something like that? Even the American movie had the good graces to include McCoy becoming McGann.
Yeah and it died a death because of it. If you start a new series with a regeneration then it just confuses people. A flash back later thought would work.
Yeah, that's pretty good. It shows that Eccelston was a good choice after all..... The subtlety of that is also good, especially given the circumstance of 8 becoming 9.
For me, this is the perfect canon regeneration of the 8th doctor into the 9th doctor, you should submit this to the BBC! I wonder if Paul McGann will appear in the new series, the only appearance of the Eighth Doctor was in the photobook of all the doctors past selves. From what I've been told, as long as he doesn't have to wear the wig. Lastly, if the series was still running, this would've taken place in the last episode of the 2004 series.
Great how you found these two stills. Very clever i would never have though of using the actual 7th regeneration. In you're discription you say it is ok to copy? Are you sure that's ok? as i was thinking of making a time war video. Thanks
I like watching his ears grow!

young doctors = bad.
Older wise doctors = better.
Dr Who has become flawed and awful trying to sell out and win young ladies over.

@Ibringthetruth1 the 9th doctor was good tbh, he didn't hit on rose or anything and rose didnt do the same and he had a more 'alien' appeal
