  • are you indian?

  • I believe no matter how a country is no one has the rights to insult it or to show it as inferior to other countries. Being a loyal Indian I feel this video is offensive and it is not an insight to India. I don’t know why people choose to show the undeveloped side of India instead of the modernized and well developed side.

  • I love my country India <3

  • You dont really reply to your subscribers comments. Why??

  • India is a beautiful country.Mumbai especially has amazing brands like topshop, asos at justt $3 each dress/ top.

You can get big brands at dirt cheap prices! :D

  • Do you think this man allows his monkey to roam around free? Of course not, he is kept on that lead all day everyday and then most likely kept in a small cage at night, or just tied up somewhere. Does that sound like an enjoyable life to you? I'm not attacking the man that owns this monkey, this is probably his only source of income- what else is her supposed to do? But this monkey is not leading an enjoyable life, don't try to kid yourself.

  • You're right, in this clip the man is not beating the monkey. Nor is he yelling at him. Do the workers at battery farm beat and yell at the chickens? No. But the conditions in which they live is not their natural habitat and is very traumatic for them- meaning they live a miserable life.

  • Most farmers from around where I live care A GREAT DEAL about their livestock, and make sure they have an enjoyable and free life before their time comes.

  • Megabookfreak- i don't think i could disagree with this comment more. I'm not a vegetarian and yet I'm very aware of animal-cruelty and supporting charities that try to prevent it. Eating meat is part of the circle of life. It does NOT mean that i will but my meat or eggs etc from farms I know do not care about the welfare of it's animals (e.i battery farming, chicken culling etc etc).

  • @rmackenzie0112 LOL. i'd rather not have this arguement with you here because I don't want nikki's video to become a debate center. I inboxed you. check it if you'd like :)

  • im gujarati <3 r u indian?! cuz if u r! yay! omfg!

    xoxo

  • Gujarat is not a village it is a state in India.

  • i cant beleive all the animal cruelty comments. just watch the scene again...do you see him beating the monkey? yelling at him? the monkey is simply trained. the man probably takes good care of the money anyways. it's not worse than the animals in a circus and definitely better than animals kept in a zoo.

if you want to talk about animal cruelty...stop eating meat. i wonder how many of you here eat meat that was produced by slaughter? now THATS animal cruelty

  • @megabookfreak are you serious?

  • @rmackenzie0112

    yeppp.

what part of what i said was wrong?

  • @megabookfreak ok i had so much to say it wouldn't fit in one comment box- read all of my comments above starting with the bottom and work your way up. Sorry to Nikki for spamming up your comments page, it just needed to be said.

  • @megabookfreak If people jump down the train tracks with children how would they treat a monkey any better??? I come from places like Gujrat, and trust me the animals learn the hard way. Poor creature probably doesn't eat but once a day, assuming he's THAT lucky.

  • horrible, poor monkey,. being torcherd and living in most likely horrible conditions to perform 'entertainment' to people. and your laughing!"

  • haha funny monkey.

  • @thegreatnessful I think it's completely crazy to say in this instance what's considered wrong in the "western" world isn't the same in other countries. Animal cruelty is animal cruelty no matter what. (I completely agree with you, that this man does need to provide for his family) but is getting sold into sex slavery alright, because you need your daughter to provide money for the family? No. Completely different in the context that one is a person, and the other an animal but still wrong.

  • @chantelle42x it's easy to judge something when we have proper roof n hot meals to eat. you won't believe the things a mother/father is willing to do (from any part of the world) to make sure that their family is well fed and can survive. let's put it this way...if you were driving on a road and suddenly a baby came from the right and a monkey from the left and you had to swirve one way because the road was small...who's life would you rather save?

  • wow India look really interesting.. hope you enjoyed\ your trip..

  • Makes me appreciate living in the UK D: I don't mean that in a nasty way I'm just saying.

  • Oh the Monkey :( That's animal cruelty. So sad :(

  • did that monkey had spots? it's so cute.

  • You went around the same time as me. Your so lucky you went for 2 weeks. I had to manage for 4 weeks and it was terrible!

  • Thank You for sharing!

  • That was amazing Nikki, thanks for sharing your experience with us. [[:

  • traffic looks scary there I would probably kill myself and others

  • i'm from gujrat india but i only got to live there for 5 years.. and have only been back there once in my whole life.. and im 14 years old.

u brought back how it feels like to be there!

    thank you :)

  • watching the monkey bought a tear to my eye. absolutely disgraceful and is not in ANY way entertainment.

  • different worlddddd

  • does anyone ever like get attacked by the animals walking in the street?

  • omg the first bit with the beach was exaclty what i took the same exact thing when i went to mumbai! =P

  • oh gosh i remeber i got chased by one of them buffalos once :( it was so dangerous

  • looks similar to when I visited Africa this past summer, great video.

  • so you´re actually from india?

  • yes i know he is doing it to survive i never disputed the fact that he isn't i'm just saying that it is awful, i'm free to speak my opinion as much as this guy is aloud to do that to a monkey. all i was saying is that i don't agree with it no need for an argumentative reply thankyou :-)

  • i don't think what they are making that monkey do at all is funny! not one bit its sick and so disrespectful to them! i wouldn't even be able to watch it its awful animal abuse and they should be totally ashamed!

  • @ammberjonasx3 what's wrong in western countries isn't always the same in others countries i'm pretty sure the owner is more worried about making enough money to feed his family, then what PETA thinks about monkey exploitation. He's obviously not rich and doing it by choice he's doing it to survive. You should put yourself in their shoes before you judge.

  • a lot of guys

  • i want to visit India....

  • hey :D i'm going to mumbia this summer and i was wandering if you have any tips on what to wear as to not attract to much attention or to offend anyone, so that we blend in a little more? x

  • Comment removed

  • @LowriElinD its very humid in summer over there....pretty hot..and abt clothes ..i dont think it really makes a difference.. i went there last summer and i carried cotton pants, short skirts, some sleevless tops. People really dont care or pay too much attention on what u wear thts what i've known. Dont carry dark colors as it will be very hot in summer. Also it really depends what part of mumbai you are visiting . Hope this is helpful ..
