  • The man who read my mamogram a couple weeks ago, had the audacity to tell me that due to my genetic implications for cancer, I should consider having my breasts removed. I was flabbergasted and discusted a man that I've never met, whom I will never meet again, who does not even HAVE breasts (!!) could use his stature as a doctor to suggest such nonesense. Imagine if I was a sheeple? How dare he! Thanks for the upload, I'm in the process of going whole food, low fat, plant based.

  • A voluntary double mastectomy is not an uncommon thing to mention for a young woman with a genetic predisposition. And when accompanied with reconstructive surgery, you can end up with an even perkier set. Still painful to do... That said, it doesn't matter whether the doc was a guy or girl, doc's way to help is through medicine or surgery. They are not nutritional specialists. And while your new diet may help, shouldn't bag on him for treating you like every other american.

  • thank u.
