depends on which version you read, comic book, cartoon, etc. One version is he took a vow of silence after seeing storm shadow kill his master. Another version is he was hurt during an explosion, which included damaging his neck/throat/vocal cords.

They screwed so bad with the Snake Eyes/Storm Shadow origin in this farce. I could have dealt with all the other liberties they took, but messing with their origins was taboo. I guess they needed something for the widdle kiddies and tweens to relate to. Was there ANY consideration for the fans on this crapfest?! I went to see it with a cousin who is another Joe fan, and he was mildy impressed, but I wish I could get those 2 hours and my money back.

I partially agree. Other music -- perhaps some type of epic orchestral-style music (e.g., Lux Aeterna) -- would have suited much better.

Having said that, towards the end with the final fight between SS & SE, the guitar solo was actually kind of cool playing along with the scene.

Sadly though, the rest of the video kind of suffered from the annoying "girl, there are..."-lyrics.

Nevertheless, thanks for putting this video up. Very cool.

While it's not a "good" movie per se, it was very entertaining. I personally found it more entertaining than Star Trek, Terminator: Salvation, Wolverine and Transformers 2. It makes for a fun ride, especially if you're into the G.I. Joe toys and cartoon from the 80s.

I think you'll enjoy it. When either Snake Eyes or Storm Shadow are on screen, the movie's awesome. When they're fighting each other, it's almost like fireworks going off. Storm Shadow's very cool, probably the coolest character in the movie. Byung-hun Lee is very slick.

ray park didnt study tae kwon do...he is a master in wushu which is based more on jumps, kicks and acrobatics. if u see at about 3:10 he uses what is called a butterfly twist to escape from bein cut up by storm shadow. ray park does this move in basically all of his movies cause it looks bad ass
