Basically this song is about one riff, but notice how Krist changes his style of playing it from the verse to the chorus. It sounds a bit like he's using distortion on the bass for the chorus?

Also I'm pretty shocked to hear how untight the bass is, for example at 02:40-02:50 he really screws up the tempo.

Ok, so when's the Nirvana remix albums coming out, Krist (if you see it. you say this is a youtube fave of yours)? Because you can. Who said there can't be anything new? I was thinking of a good example of grunge meets techno. god lives underwater did a song called no more love. it's like a techno alice in chains. anyway, it's just a suggestion. don't think it would happen, but i like the idea. cool bass line here. it does remind me of AIC but far enough to be original. it's not like bush taking their bass line for come down from living on a prayer by bon jovi. nobody ever bitched about that. nobody could tell but me i guess. krist rocks. godspeed motherf'ker.
