@RayTunesOfficial Well, how shall I put this...a person eithter likes it or you don't. - no gray area there.
Now, you obviously havent tried this before, so I make a challange to you. Instead of knocking the recipe down before you can make an honest judgement about it, why not make a batch and THEN come back and let me know your thoughts. Fair enogh? I do appreciate you taking the time to view and comment!
@shadowsdarkness21 Well, you know you could also sub the liquor with a thick chocolate milk as well. I wouldnt do BOTH bacon and ham together. I would remove the bacon and try just the ham. Not sure how that work though because ham tends to hold water more and you might have runnier batter and cookies that looked like the mistake ones I showed. Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed them! Thanks for letting me know!!
@shadowsdarkness21 Please do! When you do, if you could come back and share your experience with them, I'd be interested to know what you thought of them.
Ron, nice job with the cookies. I especially liked the correction to the flour amount! We all have those sorts of mishaps in the kitchen. Good work, but then with bacon and chocolate, how could we go wrong. Thanks for sharing this with us. YPG
@YourProduceGuy Bacon and Chocolate are one of those combinations that just always work well together! Thanks as always, for the kind comments and view, and mostly for your support!
@ilovstodance Please do! When you do, come back and let me know of your experience with them! Thanks for the kind words and taking the time to view and comment!
@TheStopmoCo Oh not at all! I've been a "Food Chemist" (meaning mixing up and trying different taste ideas with food) for a good part of my life! Let me tell you, I've supriozed more people once they bite into this cookie in a good way then I can count on fingers and toes...LOL! You should really give these a try!
@Symphonotics LOL...Hey, that;s an idea for a future opening! Since my show is an "All Ages" show and I'm trying to get kids involved into cooking, I try to stay somewhat "politically correct"...but that's "food for thought'!
@TJElevatorfan I hope you do! If you do, please come back and let me know how your experience was with it! Thanks for the view and comments! Much appreciated.
Very interesting mix of foods... I have heard of chocolate covered bacon before but no one ever mentioned combining these two stand alone foods into a cookie.... That's just cool beans.
@fatlossbydesign Well, thank you ! Now...take this knowlege and make a batch of these yourself and come back and tell me if they were everything or more of what you thought they might taste like!
@MegaEvilCrow OH COME ON!!! Give the Cowboy a chance here! Now you can't say that you dont like them until you make a batch and try yourself. My apron thanks you too!

@ChuckwagonCowboy you're welcome!! and thats okay! i already have a prize! being famous for the 100 comment! this is actually the second that i made the 100th comment!
@pikachu10009 LOL, thank you! Actually my cameraman thew my shirt at me to get me going to start filming this episode as he needed to be at another appointment later in the day!
I will add you strictly based on that cheesy intro. I felt so naughty how you made me feel like I was a peeping tom and you just so happened to catch me looking at you looking in the fridge.
@MsHollywoodFilm Well, let me know how I can help you, maybe translate the recipe in your native tongue or something? I'd love you to try baking these!~
Wow. This is great. I've heard about a lot of the interesting thing folks have done with bacon, but this is the first time I've seen an actual recipe.
I'm going to make a batch and share them with my coworkers (who I lovingly refer to as "victims" in my videos).
@kentusku GREAT!!! PLEASE let me know how they turned out and how your co-workers liked them and if all went well, tell them where you got the recipe and to climb about the Chuckwagon Express!
@TheLPSlover8 I will gladly go and watch it but it would have been a nice gesture if you would have at least commented on my video first before asking:) However, I will check your video though and comment on it.
Great video Ron! I think the cookies sound good. I watched on t.v. where men would put bacon in cupcakes and I thought that was clever. Keep the videos coming.
@jessicastarr9764 Yes, and I have a recipe where I have done that as well! You've given me an idea for my next Season to do a show on the bacon cupcake!
@nargarothfreak666 Well, instead of pre-judging the cookies, why dont you make a batch and try them yourself? I never say I dont like something unless I've tried it....give it more credibility, ya know? :)
@nargarothfreak666 I worked in The Netherlands and meals there were a trip. Americans will eat ANYTHING! If you are Dutch and question this, then I revise my comment. I found a lot of the food there an odd mix of sweet and sour. I got used to it eventually, but at first, my tongue was like WHAT?!!!!
@nargarothfreak666 They say snake meat makes the best chili, and they put insects in bread in Mexico and you have to pay more for it, extra protein. I like snails, you know, the French don't eat them much anymore, they consider them "poor food." We saw a restaurant near Place Monge in Paris which advertised "French Food" (in English!) and it was onion soup and snails, that is what Americans think is French food, sigh. xo
Bacon and Chocolate Chip cookies? What an idea. I will have to try this out on Hungry Hubby - he likes walnuts in his chocolate chip cookies so won't he be surprised....... :)
@ChuckwagonCowboy It will be a few months before I can. Gotta heal my broken body parts first. But it's on my top 5 things to bake when I have my hand and arm back in use!
@AuntDuddie Oh I am so sorry to hear about that! My goodness take care of yourself and I DO EXPECT a full report on your experience with these when you are mended properly! Prayers and thoughts with you!
@EZGlutenFree Thank you for the compliment! Now Apple Bacon Fritters...I need to look THAT one up! That sounds like it could be something I'd like to toy around with and give it a YEEHAW workover!
I have to admit I had never heard of bacon chocolate chip cookies. When I read your title I was instantly drawn! While you were making these my my brain was imagining those flavors melding with each other and now - after seeing yours - I really, really want to try these out! Thank you so much!
@CinemaDanMovieMan Trying to keep it real AND to show people its ok to have a malfuction in the kitchen and still come out smelling like a rose at the end of the day by learning and adjusting! Glad you liked that! The flat cookies still tasted great though...LOL!
Crackin' my whip! Heeyah! Them there are the best kind of cookies for a hungry cowboy on the trail! Bacon and Chocolate! Thank God for bacon, it's my favorite high fiber food! Thanks Ron!
@MrEZCooking Gotta love bacon!! They really are good and I challenge you to making them for yourself and then come back and tell me how you liked them!
@Ulio1988 LOL...thanks! My kitchen is a very cozy one, but luckliy I have everyting laid out in a uniform fashion that it makes it easy to get around in!
@comptonproduction Well, now that the recipe is public, the "cat's out of the bag" on my secret, so to speak. But, it would be nice to see something like that for sale commercially! Now, about your baking...I bet you could bake these up yourself if you go step by step with my directions!
I have created a recipe for a cayenne pepper and chocolate cookie a few years ago, which turned out pretty good. Sweet and salty is usually a great combination: sea salt and chocolate.
@TheSidewayschef Thanks and I've heard of (but never sampled) the pepper/chocloate chip combo. That might be something I will have to play around with for a future recipe!
@DVandM Thanks and the point here is that we all have an occasional misfire in the kitchen or in anything we do in life and the important thing to fix it right and then learn and demostrate what we did wrong! Glad you enjoyed that! Lets hope I dont have to do TOO many episodes like that!
@murphygtm Thanks, its a great combo and it's a cookie that you dont need to eat alot of to enjoy! Appreicate the view and comment and my tats thank you too...LOL!
Great performance!

Bacon & chocolate? That is an odd combination, and I fail to see how this could in any possible way.
I don't understand how this is liked by so many, is it an typical American dish? It looks strange to me.

Love how you showed the first batch that was flat! Great idea! Love how you keep it real Ron!
CinemaDanMovieMan 6 months ago
@CinemaDanMovieMan Trying to keep it real AND to show people its ok to have a malfuction in the kitchen and still come out smelling like a rose at the end of the day by learning and adjusting! Glad you liked that! The flat cookies still tasted great though...LOL!

@Ulio1988 LOL...thanks! My kitchen is a very cozy one, but luckliy I have everyting laid out in a uniform fashion that it makes it easy to get around in!
ChuckwagonCowboy 6 months ago
@ChuckwagonCowboy ahahhaah. In Italy the term "I like your kitchen" indicates not the room but the food. I like what you cook. :)))
P.S: sorry for my english, it's not very good :)))
Ulio1988 6 months ago
i'm a loosy baker. you should market them.
comptonproduction 6 months ago
@comptonproduction Well, now that the recipe is public, the "cat's out of the bag" on my secret, so to speak. But, it would be nice to see something like that for sale commercially! Now, about your baking...I bet you could bake these up yourself if you go step by step with my directions!

The sea salt is a nice touch...mmmm sea salt :)
TheSidewayschef 6 months ago
@TheSidewayschef INDEED! I thought so too! Thanks for the view and comments!!
ChuckwagonCowboy 6 months ago
I have created a recipe for a cayenne pepper and chocolate cookie a few years ago, which turned out pretty good. Sweet and salty is usually a great combination: sea salt and chocolate.
TheSidewayschef 6 months ago
@TheSidewayschef Thanks and I've heard of (but never sampled) the pepper/chocloate chip combo. That might be something I will have to play around with for a future recipe!

DVandM 6 months ago
@DVandM Thanks and the point here is that we all have an occasional misfire in the kitchen or in anything we do in life and the important thing to fix it right and then learn and demostrate what we did wrong! Glad you enjoyed that! Lets hope I dont have to do TOO many episodes like that!
