My sound bug remains after trying this, it's just not as bad as it was before. So this helped a bit. The bug in my skyrim, voice audio is low only on the right side of my character? from the front back and left side it is fine? Anyone have an idea whats wrong here? I have_ Vista32 bit-ATI Radeon 4850 HD-Realtek High Definiti-Intel Core2 duo 2.33GHz-3.GB RAM.

I got a question, I have 2 playback devices; one on my motherboard, and the HDMI audio that comes with my video card (both with latest drivers). Does it matter which one I use for Skyrim? I used to think the mobo audio would be actually responsible for the stuttering/out of sync problem until other problems surfaced and lost track of my trial & error troubleshooting.

I have an audio problem... The other voices are very soft or I cannot hear at all from a short distance or if I am looking the wrong way... When I press E to talk to someone, I cannot hear the other people AT ALL please tell me how to fix this. By the way my "voice" sounds are all the way up in game. All other sounds work FINE!

i dont like the overall sound quality in this game. The whole game is much of a disappointment mainly because it was if it was designed by interns. Here ill cover sound. The sound levels are odd. Drawing your sword is insanely loud. Casting spells has way too much bass! If i turn sound effects down to compensate for this alot of other sounds become virtually inaudible. I find myself reaching for the volume knob too often. Dripping water sounds like static. Music tracks have uneven volume levels.

@Darth666Ghost It's because you have a Gigabyte motherboard. Bethesda will release an update next week to fix the issue.

Problem:

Skyrim has terrible static white noise in the background.

Solution:

In the volume options in the advanced tab turn down the sound quality from 24 bit 96KHZ to 24 bit 48khz.

This works as well, fix I used on my system and confirmed good audio.

Benefits of getting it on PC. There are already texture mods coming out for the pc version. The consoles will just have to wait for Bethesda and god knows how long that will take.

agree with the pc thing but I've to use a mac for work and a gamer pc for just for games... idk

I'm quite happy with my ps3, though mods would be kinda fun sometimes
