  • lolololololol. I should get my grandpa to play this part...

  • Jean Harlow.... JEAN. FUCKING. HARLOW. Thats a REAL Red Dead easter egg, better than a shit stained hat.

  • winstin churchill

  • I bet more than 75% of people under the age of 30 didn't know who half those people were-15

  • @acullen113 i knew everyone of them. but everybody should know marilyn monroe. shes the most famous ace in the world.

  • @Westiepup101 I totally agree. There was probably only 1 or 2 i have never heard of. But i guess really that's the perks of having a grandfather who loves movies. :)

  • @acullen113 well im 21 and i knew artie shaw and marylin only

  • @BlackLionFilms I pretty sure that was exactly my point...i knew the majority of them and i'm 15.

  • @acullen113 congrats then

  • Marilyn Monroe xD

  • Orson Welles

  • why so many dislike? it tells the truth tight? If you don't know Shirley Temple you got history issues

  • I got a major kick out of this part, I am quite young but admire almost every name on this list. I am a fan of classic Hollywood.

  • i doubt winston churchill would sleep in a sleazy motel

  • Orson Welles' movies inspired L.A. Noire

  • are those signatures legit??

  • HUMPHREY BOGART the actor and everyone in the book is famous.

  • Was marilyn monroe even born in 1947?!?!

  • @Sephiroth123456777 She was born in 1926........

  • @Sephiroth123456777 She was 21 in 1947.

  • These are famous names because every one used fake names in the 'flophouse'

  • fail. no one noticed jean fucking harlow

  • i never noticed

  • This is what happens when people finish L.A. Noire...they don't know what the fuck to do and make a video on a check-in book. I loved this game while it lasted....it had so much more potential. God I really hope they make a sequel to L.A. Noire with more options and less repetitive gameplay. Other than that

    R.I.P L.A. Noire <3

  • @Eitan4life never bought it becausethere was no multiplayer free roam :/

  • @Eitan4life i doubt they will cuz team bondi just folded up so unless any studio buys the rights to the game we wont see a sequel but i hope so to

  • @nwolwo actually, there is. they are going to add installments and they are currently in progress of doing so. while fans were asking if they were, they said they are currently working on another game.

  • @Westiepup101 whos they? i havent heard of anyone buying rights to team bondi games

  • @nwolwo uhh, team bondi and rockstar?!?!

  • @Westiepup101 i dont think rockstar woould want LA NOIRE they were hesitent enough wen they just help make it n there were several problems going on that pushed rockstar away n plus im sure rockstar is completely busy with GTA V so i doubt rockstar will make the sequel

  • @nwolwo well, it wont be L.A. Noire 2, it is going to be like it, but with a 20th century story.... its on Wikipedia.

  • @Eitan4life im already on "The set up" when ur tailing Candy edwards,,, i havent found the game "repetitive" I'm in love with it, but still, the city is so big it could use some minigames and stuff.

  • The ones I know:

Ava Gardner; Shirley Temple; Rita Hayworth; Danny Kaye; Harpo Marx; Clark Gable; Winston Churchill; Humphrey Bogart; Marilyn Monroe; Bob Hope; Artie Shaw.

  • I laughed at Abbott and Costello when I first played this part.

  • and RICK ASTLEY dadadadadaddaaaddadaddadadaNANANANANA

  • Winston Churchill is still checked in the motel!

  • YOU FAIL THIS IS NOT AN EASTER EGG!

  • -.- you don't know what an "Easter Egg" is...THOSE ARE EASTER EGGS!? An Easter Egg is anything in a game MEANT to catch your eye and those celebrities are there for just that reason...

  • @aoinatafanboy84 It isn't an easter egg.

If you listen while playing, the guy behind the counter will tell you how people will put down fake names instead of their real ones.

  • @TheMikeyReilly EVEN if this is based on actual Hotel of the era. It is still up to the GAME DESIGNERS to make it. The fact that they chose ANY HISTORICAL NAMES out of their ass makes it an easter egg! It doesn't ALWAYS have to be something in the background that is filler and nonessential to the plot. It's just something that pays homage to it. Like all of Assassin's Creed 2 onward. There are loads of easter eggs in the game and quite a couple are historical pieces of history.

  • @aoinatafanboy84 You're wrong, but I've got better things to do than argue. It's a pretty pathetic thing to argue about, hmm? Filling up YouTube comments with petty debates about extremely trivial issues does my head in. I do hope you agree with me.

    Have a nice life.

  • @TheMikeyReilly Not a chance of that at all. You are just all out of ammo. It might do mine in sooner or later but not at the moment.

  • @aoinatafanboy84 your retarded

  • @spacemonkey7878 How would you presume to come to that observation? I was simply using all my faculties to ascertain a reasonable conclusion.

  • bob hope

  • Lmfao there's, Humphrey Bogart, Marilyn Monroe, Jimmy Cagney, Clark Gable and more. LOOL.

  • Did you notice in that one Arson Case you have to Talk to a Neighbor and his Last name is 'Forman' and Jack 'Kelso' is one of the Cops? That 70's Show Reference?

  • BOB HOPE!

  • its on the 'The Set Up" case

  • thats the hotel where people don't use their real names the guy says

  • MARLYN MONROE

  • Erm. You missed out Winston Churchill. Wait, who is he again? -.-

  • @OmsoiTekken: Only the guy who helped the Allies win WW2.

  • @kanenkitten I was joking?

  • kool!!!!!

  • ORSEN WELLES

  • theres a guy in the book called bob hope, i actually saw him on fb before

  • ARTIE FUCKING SHAW

  • this is to do with the case, the apartments are run down and everyone there gives fake names, including you're suspect.

  • and nobody knows who harpo marx is and someones gonna google him and tell me some bullshit thing from a wiki/

  • Every name in that book is a famous person...

  • @BrosephGreyson You're 100% correct....

  • @BrosephGreyson yeah you're right every name is a famous person...

  • Bogart, Marylin monroe, Clark Gable... Wow, that is a famous hotel

  • @Gabrielvogel don't forget shirley temple, lana turner, and Jean harlow.

  • if you listen the person at the desk says people put fake names in

  • DIDN'T ANYONE CLOCK ONTO THE MOST FAMOUS AND IMPORTANT THERE??????

    WINSTON CHURCHILL

  • @stratagie1 thats just the boxer that used that name and is really the suspect ur trying to find

  • @snipescopeful Really because he didn't check out i noticed

  • abbot and costello are on there too

  • nice they were all old to but good

  • Monroe :D

  • bob hope!

  • wow marylin monroe

  • I read the description and you're wrong, it's still an Easter Egg.

  • Bing Crosby and Gregory Peck are in there too.

  • You do realize that either your partner or the dude behind the counter said qoute"This isn't the place where people sign in with their actual name."

  • Vincent Price FTW!

  • those people could of actually been there and checked in, remember, it is 1940's California

  • @jdwizard99 You didn't listen to the guy behind the counter, then.

  • they should have put john marston in the book!

  • Comment removed

  • Bob Hope

  • Clark Cable

  • Not an easter egg, its part of the storyline, and if those are the only famous people. And if you can only find 3 famous people in that book then you must be living under a rock

  • @ilik2pac the fact that those names are listed in the game makes them an easter egg...it gave the game creators full license to put any historical figure they wanted. They could have put Joseph Stalin in there if they wanted.

  • @aoinatafanboy84 They already used Stalin for the Commie hobo who introduced himself as "Comrade Stalin"

  • @LordZaayl That's my point, the creators put the names into the game to be recognized as such.

  • Sorry but thats not an easter egg. In the mission, cole asks about if a certain guy checked in the hotel (i forget the guys name), the hotel manger guy says no he didnt, immediately. Cole gets mad and tells him to check, but the guy says that people checking into the hotel dont excatly use their real name. Cole checks and sees the celebrities names, which are obvisously not real. Also, Winston Churchill and Marilyn Monroe are not all the celebs in the book, theres a lot more you didnt point out.
