Mmm yeah this games sneak detection is bugged as hell. The thing shown in this vid is one thing but myself sitting in plain sight in midday in front of a mage of sorts and not being detected (mind you ive had heavy armor on without the muffled spell/skill) is plain ridiculous. You can be sneaky but you dont have a personal camouflage device with you... (Predator style)

Needs fix. And yeah!

Best part is when you're sneak kiting mobs for the lulz. Fire an arrow into a bandits head and watch them try find you. As they return to the camp they go "it must have been my imagination" - with an arrow in their head.

I farmed my sneak running into a boulder near the bear in the tutorial cave. I lvled lots faster than this, and then I finished it all up by stealth-stabbing that bear....

I've already got my sneak up to level 100, I just used sneak attacks with bows and daggers (6x and 15x damage) and it's so easy to level up your sneak! Plus with several items that increase my archery, I feel virtually invincible, almost to easy haha

I had the same encounter. My char was hiding with my companion also in sneak mode. Somehow, the mobs just can't see the both of us. The mobs came closer and closer like in your case yet they still cant see us. guess the mobs must have been short sighted XD.
