It's a shame that John Cusack actually hates this movie. He won't even talk about it, and if anyone does an interview with him, it's never brought up. Google it. I was so dissapointed when I first found out, because it really is one of his best.

I read that recently too and I think it's bizarre. First, maybe it's hard for him to be objective since he was in it and can't see all its great qualities, even though it's not high art... but this movie is a big reason why most of his fans love him. Who would he be if he hadn't been in this movie? Maybe he wouldn't have gotten that part in Say Anything.

I love the scene when he is running from all the paper boys at night and he gets to his car and screams "KEYS!!!"

also when the paper boy goes through the car wash and you hear him scream "Nooo. I can't swim."
