Not as dangerous as people who would not allow freedom of religion.
The communists in Russia banned churches from owning property, having central funds, and having any influence on public life. They also pulled down old Churches and generally tried to eliminate Christianity as much as they reasonably could.
Despite this Christianity survived in Russia to this day.

Ive never heard of any organization handling their negative publicity so badly by pushing the envelope even further (BBC news review propaganda to discredit the BBC Scientology Panorama report)

Good job making the connection to fight club, thats where one of them came from. It was a tribute to the movie because it was pretty sweet. Hacking any anon website is pretty easy. Especially 4chan, the owners don't care about the site and its protection/encryption is just about as low as telnet so the regime should'nt feel that its that big of a feat.
