I was three when this was shot; even in the gloomy weather it still looks nice here. I lived in Miami from 1957-1998. Much of its beauty is now gone because rampant asphault and concrete have made it the proverbial "paved paradise". The glamour and vibrancy of South Beach are an asset, but it wears thin if you're over 30. There still exist many wonderful pockets in greater Miami to explore and enjoy. But the noise, traffic and ugliness you have to endure make it an unpleasant ordeal.

i live in Miami and this is truly amazing! the eden roc as seen in the video still exists and i can't believe it looks the same! it's still there! wow this is awesome!
