Thanks for posting this wonderful upload. Matthew Collings is a magnificent broadcaster who shows great respect and understanding for both his subject and his own modern audience. He always manages to strike a fine balance between theoretical, analytic and biographic exposition.

This is a great series. It emphasizes that beauty and pleasure are just as important as shock and angst. The latter is our present Salon art. Perhaps beauty will make a comeback.

Thanks for putting this up. I too watched all 10 straight through and enjoyed it thoroughly. I have long been an avid reader of Collings's diary pieces in Mod Painters. I'd love see more of his stuff on video!
