Apparently, (as seen on MacRumors forums... If you install the 3.0 beta without an Apple Dev Account, your phone gets bricked. I've also heard that there's no way to install a previous version to undo this. If you do this to an iPod touch, you won't be able to sync with iTunes.

the iphone first gren like mine could do mms and sterio bluetooth, but apple wolnt let it, as they want us to buy a 3g iphone.
(apple says the original first gen iphone cant, i dont belive them)
