  • does anyone kno how to connect an up-to date radio to a 94' geo metro?

  • @philly946 you could maybe ask jmoyet or 1997fordprobegt on youtube.

  • the only problem is that he said "on this particular car"... some (almost all) other original car radios are just a bit (lot) more complicated to take off then that

  • Hi,

Could you also post a video to explain how to remove the stereo from a Hyundai '97

  • Simple tools required: 3 pound hammer, large screwdriver, pry bar (crow bar) and that's all.

Remember if at first you don't succeed -- get a heavier hammer. --- Ray.

  • Is it just me, or does everything associated with eHow just completely worthless?

  • they are all worthless! they title the video 1 thing then you get a 1 minute video on how to do this with horrible instructions and then they make it look easy and do it 10 seconds and then were stuck for hours tryin ta do it ourselfs!! thats y i hate these guys!

  • ok im having trouble removing my radio from my 1997 mazda protege... there are no screws that hold it down... i tried removing my glove compartment to go around it but i wasnt able to remove it... i read up on it and found out i have to use some special tool or a hanger to remove it... how the hell do i do that?

  • i have the same car and i'm bout to try it out and see if I can get it, if I get it i'll let u know

  • ok kool... tell me how it goes...

  • to get the stereo out of 1996 and 1997 mazda proteges you need a tool called a DIN tool. im pretty sure you can get them from any car stereo installation shop. i got mine with my stereo that i ordered online. :)

  • uh thx alot but i already got the stereo out... and i used a metal clothes hanger... i had alittle trouble with the side closest to the passenger side so i removed the glove compartment and pushed that clip in by hand and used the clothes hanger to free the other side... and my new radio fit perfectly... doesnt stick out like a lot of other peoples systems.... its awesome... and again, thanks anyways
