  • Either these dolphins were cruelly snatched away from their pod whilst having to witness the slaughter of their family or they were born into this artificial environment. ! Whilst I have sympathy for desperate parents seeking ways to help their children scientific studies show there are no significant improvements in one's mental and physical wellbeing apart from when they actually interract with the dolphins so it is just a short 'high'. It's all about money Wake up and smell the corruption!

  • I conducted a Dolphin/Human Interactive THerapy Pilot Program, in Egypt for many years.. . Coupled the swim with a IQ+EQ training. Being a shaman healer, I knew that dolphins and baluga whales, were highly intuitive. Every one of these children reached the goals (that I pre-established via multiple evaluations).Parents of older persons asked me to do individual therapy....we were able to do so on a one on one basis outside the research program in their in the sea, again good results.

  • Understand that dolphins are conscious beings who CHOOSE their own reality -- They know they are healers and they want to help humanity. Thank you dolphins!

  • shurly, insted of keeping captive dolphins, these handicapped childeren could swim with wild dolphins insted?

  • look at rodeo abuse by SHARKonlineorg. this is disneyland compared to what happens to these rodeo animals. speak out about rodeo abuse!

  • i think its quite ironic how all of the oppositonal people on captivity state their feelings. do you have children? do you eat beef, chicken, or pork? yes they do have fish farms too. or how about the crude oil that comes out of the ground for your fuel based petroleum machines? is your house made out of trees? do you use razors to shave? point being, it all comes from God and the earth. if you dont use anything from the earth, then ill listen to your argument.

  • This definitely made my day!

  • smart move mate, moving to florida, no state income tax. those dolphins cant be locked in bulletproof tanks in seaworld, they should be allowed to interact with is at their own free will.

  • im gona go to cafepress

  • yo

  • these dolphins help people but maybe thet can be free too?

  • Dolphins advisory love and understand us as much as we do them. As amazing as this stuff is I still hate the idea of dolphins in captivity although Im sure they get joy and fulfillment out of this.

  • Can these dolphins help people that suffer from severe depression and dementia? I wonder.

  • @quelita28 i dunno, it makes my day just looking at them tho

  • Pepole wake up It s all about the money !

  • @sailingyachtcharter give me your money and I'll listen to you

  • @sailingyachtcharter i think you are totally right. Dolphins just MAY be able to help those kids. However this fact is being used as an excuse to keep dolphins in captivity, which slowly kills them.

  • nobody gonna do nothin about the japenese and they gonna keep eatin tasty ass dolphins so just like fish is brain food well dolphins smarter so the japenese is smart

  • the dolphins are fine if they felt threatend they would bite peoples arms off

  • 1:48- Beautiful gentle playing.

I imagine because of their intelligence they can distinguish a difference between the individuals with special needs and the actual trainers and healthy adults.

I wonder if their behavior interacting with those children compared to non-handicapped ones is different? If it is, they are incredibly more aware than we thought.

  • to those of you who bash this program you obviously do not have kids with special needs. These dolphins love what they do and you can see it in these videos. My son who has Autism LOVES dolphins and we are currently saving money to go to this program. Think first before you speak, and pray you dont ever have to deal with this kind of hard ship. As a parent I wish no one to ever go through this, as a protective father I would go toe to toe with any one bashing this program!

  • @mattwarner206

While I'm sorry about your son, you do not know how these dolphins feel. Many people think dolphins at Sea World are happy, and that's simply not the case. Dolphins belong in the wild, not to be interfered with by us, sure I'd rather them here than at the cove, but I'd rather them having a shot at living a normal life outside of captivity. Domestication is not the way, unfortunately.

  • I believe the Dolphins know what a wonderful Job helping the special needs kids. wonderful Job, Wonderful Job.

Congratulations. I tell all of our patients from all over the world to visit the Dolphin therapy place

  • I don't buy that dophins are better than dogs. And I don't buy that it's completely pain-free for the dolphins. Wild animals belong in the wild.

  • Amazing story I cant understand how anyone would harm one of these animals my gues some ppl have a soul and then you get the ones who have no heart or soul pure evil we need to find a way to comunicate with dolphins

  • Wow, I have aspurgers and this looks awesome, and it benifits everyone and the dolphens as they all enjoy it, this is just magical ^+^

  • freedom for the dolphins !!!

  • how magnificent

  • Well at least these werent slaughtered by the Japanese, i would much rather see dolphin therapy helping children than see them slaughtered by Japan, most dolphins used for purposes such as these are rescued not captured, people need to realize this before they pass judgement

i think its wonderful i wish i could swim with them (smiles)

  • theres a video of them slaughtering the dolphins its scary.. these people are evil.

  • I hate these dolphin-slaughters. They deserver A-bomb.

  • @tnleggs59 I'm not Japanese, but I think your a sick pervert for purposefully generalizing the "group" term. stop trying to act nice by wiriting "(smile)." open your eyes.

  • This is wonderful for all except the dolphins who were killed during the capture and transport to this idealic setting. Dolphin-Human therapy is imprisonment for the dolphins. Of course, they are just animals, right?

  • Peace, love and happiness to all!

  • can dolphins help kids with childhood arthritis? I had it before, should I try it?

  • dear doctor nathanson and therapists,

wow! great work. dolphins are indeed great healers. i have worked with special needs kids and grown ups for 30 years in many different capacities. it has been ny greatest challenge and honor. congratulations to everyone. deep gratitude for your hard work and dedication.

    much light,
