  • I'm afraid that we live in a very ignorant society i have a guide dog & have had the same happen to my guide dog one thing i was told by my guide dog instructor you can't fight ignorance but doesn't stop you putting people strait & letting them know that they just can't do this sort of thing my 1st guide dog retired because some druggies set a Pitt bull on her today's society , just a handful of good people wanting to make a difference the rest don't care & dont want to know
  • The more I see of most people... the better I like my dog.

  • I visit schools with this darling dog for free teaching humane education with the aid of his book "My name is Henley: my life and times as a rescued dog"... He is always so kind and patient with every child, and he's seen tens of thousands of kids!

PARENTS need to teach these children to value life, teachers need to teach these children that also, before they grow up to be apathetic parents just like their own.

    So sad.

  • @JudeWest4868 Do the other students treat them well instead of kicking it?

  • Last night, while visiting a school with our humane education stories... Henley was kicked by a little girl about age 4. She kicked him right in the face. Her mother said nothing. I DID! I said, "LOVE and be kind to animals... never hurt them!" Mom grabbed her kid, gave me a dirty look, and moved on. Henley was dazed. He never growled at the girl when she did that, he never even snapped and she really hurt him. This so saddens me.

    THIS is learned behavior.

  • Oh my goodness!! Poor Henley! I cannot believe a 4 year old would kick that beautiful boy. And it's terrible that her mother didn't do anything. Good for you for sticking up for Henley and all the other innocent animals out there. Henley didn't get mad or growl because he is too nice to do that. He knows you stood up for him, too. And It is learned behavior unfortunately, and I only hope that this girl learned a lesson.

  • Stupid kid and mother -___-' I hate rude people.

  • I mailed this to everyone on my email list.... and pasted it into my Facebook page.

We MUST teach our children to value life so they grow up to be a part of our cause and not be the reason that we have one!

  • so sad but so powerful....

And just love that you added a picture of Champ at the end :)

  • Great job!

  • good job little :)

  • thanks big feet.

  • I showed Henley, ( our darling Puppy Mill sheepdog, now age 12... this video.) (his picture is at 2:35)

    :)

Teaching our children to value ALL of life is the answer to so much of this agony. God Bless these darling animals as they await for their forever homes.

    Thank you, Aryn :)

  • I wish I had been there. Maybe next year.

    Good job, little one.

In memory of the unloved and forgotten, I support the END of the places of hell on earth for the almighty dollar.

Beth & all my puppy mill rescued dachshunds.
