Just being real... $249.99 and $299.99 isn't bad at all for a system this great and powerful... People would go buy iPhones that are $299 to 349 easily... The power house games that are released is Uncharted Golden Abyss (I already paid it off), Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 (which I'm personally skipping), Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus (I'm getting that as well day 1) and more... The price is definitely reasonable especially with the launch bundle for the 3G/wifi version... It comes with 250mb of Conn

sony will not drop their price and here's why. 3DS launched with the crappiest launch games iv ever seen. and no one wants to buy a system without good titles to play. when zelda, starfox, mario 3D land, and mario karts started coming out then the 3DS sales increased, and the price drop helped them a lot to. but PS VITA will have uncharted, & little big planet as there A+ launch games. and people will pay the price asked just to play uncharted on the go. i dont see a drop happening anytime soon.

1 thing's for sure. The Go didn't do well at all, I think I was the only one in Rotterdam who bought it since it came out. Not shortly after that, the EU market totally dropped the Go and focused on the Psp 3000 series and games up till now. I payed 299 euros for the Go, which is easily owned by a Psp 1000. Vita might be way pricier 'cuz it's the strongest Psp ever. On the other hand, it might b 299 or even cheaper, because the Go was overpriced, compared to the 1000 and 2000. Fingers x'd

I got a Sony update, saying the Vita games will range in between $ 10 - 50. With promising titles like: Uncharted Golden Abyss is looking sweet ( I checked out the gameplay), Unit 13 looks VERY promising too, Resistance: Burning Skies, Escape Plan, Gravity Rush, the mentioned Wipeout 2048, Little Deviants, Motorstorm RC, F1 2011...There has to be atleats 3 or 4 favorites in here for all you guys. I know I have, and that's got me fired up to get that baby. Europe gets it the 22nd of Feb.

If sony were smart they would lower the price. Look at the past sony portable system the PSP GO sucked big time. The ps vita is a good system but the price of everything needs to go down in price or i know its gonna bomb big time. But u know there are always suckers out there willing to pay the high prices. @Str8UpReviews I doubt it'll drop in price. They cut the price on the Memory Cards by 20%. Also, Nintendo dropped the 3DS's price quite a bit after the 3DS released man. If Sony is going to cut the price, they're gonna cut it at least like 6 months after its release. You forget that Sony is using an AMOLED screen. That stuff is expensive tech. And if it doesn't do so good in Japan, then it'll make Sony a bit less confident it'll sell elsewhere.
