Mike Vax is such an amazing trumpet player. I played with him in a gig once and I'm only in high school.

Mike is an excellent player, very tried and true. But, he seems to be a bit out of his genre here, and for some reason (maybe it's the audio) he is overblowing his horn on the high stuff. I think he is a bit busy for this kind of music...also, he sounds out of tune sometimes. This is why I like this kind of music played on a larger bore horn. More color, less blasting. Too bad about the intonation. It really ruins it, doesn't it?
