How do you decide how thick/thin to trim your eyebrows? Some people can't afford to go get them done professionally. So how do you know when they are too thick or too thin?

Personally I have red hair with black eyesbrows and they are seriously thick and bushy. So I prefer plucking them to where they are super duper thin and coloring them a little in with a black liner...I want my eyebrows to not draw attention. That's the point. lol

Your eyebrows look ridiculously fake. You have to match your eyebrows with the shape of your eyes, and the rest of your facial features. your eyebrows are way TOO close together that doesn;t suit your eyes.

thicker brows usually look best only on Mediterranean people, and esp Middle Eastern ( like Kim Kard and Larsa Pippen) who have the eyes/facial features to complement them.

Everyone's saying it's way too much pencil, but I really like that look 'cus it's sort of retro/pin up and it looks stunning with your complexion and hair colour. The shape is perfect too. Just my opinion :)

You have lovely brows that don't need that much help. A tiny bit of powder, some gel and a spoolie is all you need. This look is too harsh for everyday. Not trying to be unkind--people would kill to have your natural brows.

You should use powder in a drk brwn, the pencil is too harsh for ur complexion an u can tell its pencil. You have rlly nice natural brows so u dnt rlly need any! =) Just a suggestion tho.

I use an black eyeliner pencil. If you use a light hand it comes off very natural. My friends don't even notice I feel them in but it does have a difference. I first fill in black areas, then darken the arch area more, then make the bottom part of all of the eyebrow darker too, then make the first part slightly darker. Finnaly, I come it thought with a brow brush.

I use black pencil but not alone. Many brown pencils look redish on their own. And since my natural hair is jet black. Mixing black and brown make a more realistic result.

I really liked this tutorial for a few reasons. I usually shy away from filling my eyebrows in because I think it looks too harsh on me, though alot of other people like it on me. Your video showed me that I can look good with my eyebrows being more defined. Also, you are the first youtuber to have the same skin complexion and eye color for me so now I can find makeup looks that look good for my skin color and eye color. Thanks so much!

@MissKnickKnacks np :) threading is another form of hair removal using thread and trained hand movements in order to shape and remove the hairs. with thread they have more freedom to shape your brows where as waxing they apply and pull - not much shape choices and it's dangerous in removing too much hair. hope that helps :)

Oh and i used to use an eyebrow pencil but i laid off it and actually like my brows how they are naturally without product, if I need to for a special occasion define them i use a little bit of eyeshadow and a brush but most of the time i go al natural haha :)

and you do have gorgeous eyebrows I cannot stand those eyebrows that are like fat at the start and then people pluck them really thin I think they are called tadpoles.. they look horrible and do nothing for anyones face.

I get my brows done by an eyebrow specialist and she knows exactly what to take away and from going to her for over a year now she has really shaped my brows so they are natural yet defined and definitely thick but not too thick - can't stand thing brows.
