I was brought up raised in Papua from two cultures, I am half Papua but I know what is like to be a Papuan since I have seen what my cousins experienced and other people. The last significant killings of aboriginals was back in the 1800's and were not big numbers.
Indonesian goverment in 1965 and 1966 killed 500 000 of it's own people during the political purge.
In 1975 killed between 60 000 and 100 000 Timorese during the invasion.
100 000 Papuans are dead due to Indonesian rule.

It's time for Papuan to stand on its foot by making a change. To free or not free is not the important thing but the self esteem as Papuan is the most important thing, when u have your self esteem, you can face everyone. The military may torture you but it doesn't mean that u have 2 do the same thing. Fight the poverty by creating volunteering system to teach people how to read and then, they will speak up for themselves to the ignorant world. The change is within urself, Papuan.

Reality is always harsh and bitter but that's the truth is ... I was brought up raised in Papua from two cultures, I am half Papua but I know what is like to be a Papuan since I have seen what my cousins experienced and other people. Those who'll never lived in Papua, don't say anything please, don't say anything unless you experienced it. Many Indonesians never know what the truth is since they are so take for granted by historian told them in such 'manipulated' history. Live in Papua someday!
