stunt busters did a tug of war between a jeep xj and a dodge ram and the xj won. the reason being was that the straight 6 applies the torque early and more efficiently than a v pattern engine, even 5+L v8s. nothing to do with driver inexperience - except, when the tires spin you lose all traction, that's the one thing that can make the difference in a tug of war
nice job but would be more interested to see how well the two stacked up against each other off road. I'm sure the jeep would win but hey it would make for a cool video and maybe shut some of these guys up dissn on the jeep. Cool vid tho thumbs up bro. Well there must certainly be some factor that is way off or the driver of the Ford is very inexperienced. I have been building and wheeling for almost 45 years and I have never seen a stock TJ beat even a stock F150 in a tug 0 war. Last week I tried pulling out my stuck 78 F250 with my 2004 TJ and the jeep got stuck too. I had to pull them both out with my stock 96 F350. Neither the F250 or TJ was running and they were burried axle deep and my F350 pulled them out no problem in deep mud.

The truck is in two wheel drive and if has no 4x4, has no low range. Even if it was a diesel, the jeep would out pull it because the truck has no weight in the rear, no positraction, and no low range.

Well there must certainly be some factor that is way off or the driver of the Ford is very inexperienced. that jeep does NOT weigh more than that truck gauranteed and i can see that he was only in 2wd and thats not a diesel. my conclusion: guy in the truck has no idea what hes doing

Exactly. It comes down to the simple laws of the way the world works. That jeep would never pull a full size truck, let alone an F250 or F350. It doesn't have the weight.

yeah towards the end you can hear a guy telling the ford to put it in 4 wheel drive in spanish that is why the jeep was pulling him the ford was in 2 wheel, put it in 4 wheel and the strap broke.
